UTHSC CON community mourns passing of life-long nursing scholar
Dr. Sarah Hall Gueldner, native of Corryton, TN and lifetime nursing scholar, passed away October 4, 2016. She received a BS in Nursing from UTHSC in 1962, followed by a master’s degree from Emory University and a Ph.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Kosten Foundation provides $200,000 grant to UTHSC for pancreatic cancer research
The Kosten Foundation for pancreatic cancer support announced today a $200,000 grant to establish the Dermon II Family and Herb Kosten Foundation Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. The fund is to be used exclusively for the research of pancreatic cancer, the disease that claimed the Kosten Foundation’s namesake, Herb Kosten.
